A New Dry Extraction System for Gases in Ice

چکیده

A new extraclion system has been designed and constructed which allows the extraction of gases from air bubbles in ice without melting it. The ice sample of abollt 500 g is crushed in an evacuated container by a milling cutter, and the gas escaping from the opened bubbles is collected by condensation at 15 K.
